Windows for Small and Midsize Business

How to buy

"My laptop battery has never lasted the whole train trip to Brussels before. I either have to put in a new battery partway through the trip or stop working. The power management feature in Windows 7 changed that. Its miserly use of power got me to Brussels on one charge. Amazing!"

Hervé Thévenet, Business Development Manager, Smub.com

Qualifying for volume licensing
Qualifying for volume licensing

Windows licenses available through Volume Licensing are upgrade-only licenses

They do not replace purchasing the initial Windows licenses for software that comes pre-installed on new PCs. Each desktop that runs the Windows 7 upgrade must first be licensed to run one of the qualifying operating systems—otherwise the PC will not have a valid, legal Windows license.

Compare different volume licensing programs to see which one is right for you

Microsoft Volume Licensing programs offer businesses of all sizes a great way to obtain and manage multiple software licenses—for as few as five desktops. Contact your Microsoft worldwide partner channel or local reseller and ask for current volume licensing offers available in your region.
