Vast numbers of customers and sales partners are turning to the Windows Vista Compatibility Center to find out what works with Windows Vista. Step 1
Check to see if your products are listed.

If your product is widely available, it probably appears in the Compatibility Center. Each product has a details page with product information, compatibility status and links to drivers or software downloads.

Submit revisions and suggest new product listings.

You can use site feedback forms to send revisions to existing products or to suggest additional products. Our team will review your feedback and make updates to the site.

If you see incorrect information on a product's detail page, you can request a change.*

  • Next to "Is this page accurate?" select No

  • Then click Suggest a correction

  • This will bring up a form where you can suggest changes and send additional information

You can request that a product be added to the site. Go to the "Suggest an additional product" form, fill it in as completely as possible, and then send your suggestion.*

* Please note that your product can be included in the Windows Vista Compatibility Center only if its compatibility is verifiable on your company's website. Verification can include a formal Windows Vista support statement site or a Windows Vista logo. Also, find out how you can send photos to the Compatibility Center team or send product information in bulk.

How do you verify compatibility?

To determine product compatibility status for this site, we looked at whether:

  • The product has earned the Certified for Windows Vista, Works with Windows Vista, or Games for Windows logo, which indicates that it has been tested for compatibility.

  • The manufacturer or publisher state Windows Vista support for the product.

Will all my changes be accepted?

Please note that to accept changes, the information you are submitting must be verifiable on your company’s website.

How can I submit a product photo?

The website does not currently accept photo uploads, but we can accept images by e-mail. Please send photos to wvccfeed@microsoft.com following these guidelines.

  • File name should be VendorName_ProductName

  • File size must be less than 45 KB

  • File format should be JPEG

  • Dimensions for best display are 200x150

  • Background color must be white

Can I send new product suggestions in bulk?

Yes, we can accept multiple product suggestions in bulk. For more information, please contact the Windows Vista Compatibility Center data team at wvccfeed@microsoft.com.

How long does it take for my request to show on the live site?

Please allow up to 4-6 weeks to verify and upload product changes and additions to the site.

What can I do to help customers looking for Windows Vista compatible products?

Explicitly state Windows Vista support on your download pages, product support pages, and product packaging. It is also important to note 64-bit compatibility status in addition to 32-bit. For the highest level of compatibility and customer confidence, earn and display the Windows Vista logo.
