Overview

The Security Engineering Team is focused on building next generation technology and tools to dramatically improve the security of Microsoft software.

Our current areas of research include:

•	Enforcing good programming practices
•	Encouraging greater understanding of the source code and the various trust boundaries within it
•	Detecting vulnerabilities in code that may compromise the security and privacy of the entire system
