User Groups
Published: August 25, 2004
User groups are local clubs in which people meet face-to-face to share their common interest in computing. Many groups are free and meet monthly or bi-monthly. Joining a local user group is a particularly good way for someone new to computing to get free expert advice.
To find a Windows or Internet Explorer user group near you, visit the Mindshare user group support site, hosted by Microsoft. In the user group search page, enter information about your location and choose your area of interest. Then search for user groups. Search for Windows, and use other general search terms such as Internet or browser.
