RSS feeds

RSS feeds

Now as part of your Star iconFavorites Center, RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds are a way to find out when websites have new content.

Some web publishers use RSS to create and distribute feeds that include links, headlines, and summaries of updated information on their website. With an RSS reader, you can have personalized sports, news, or shopping delivered directly to you. You can use the RSS reader to subscribe to as many feeds as you like—just look for the RSS button to light up to let you know there is a feed available to subscribe to.

Then, as sites are updated, you'll automatically get the feeds, which you can view using the RSS Reader. This means you can keep up with new information on your favorite websites in one place, rather than having to visit each site individually.
