Use AutoSearch

Another way to search the Web in Internet Explorer 6 is directly from the Address Bar. If you type in what you’re looking for and press ENTER, Internet Explorer 6 picks a search service to find a match. It’s fast and easy. This feature is called AutoSearch. Here’s how to use it:

Say you want to search for "digital cameras."

1.

Go to the Address Bar and type: "find digital cameras", "go digital cameras", "? digital cameras", or just "digital cameras."

2.

Internet Explorer 6 automatically sends your query to a search service and displays the results.
