Do you think you can corral a hungry serpent? You are the guardian of ancient Chinese serpents intent on eating anything in their path, even if this leads them off cliffs or into pits. Instead of controlling the serpent, use the mouse to manipulate the walls that guide your creatures to yummy “bao” or Chinese steamed buns. Eat enough bao and a pagoda will open to magically transport you to the next level.
Explore beautiful hand-drawn worlds in Serpentine, from snow-covered temples to cascading water palaces. Listen to a rich music soundtrack that will transport you to another place and time. Play through all 50 (70 in Windows XP) levels in the game, and then explore an additional 85 in the expansion pack. Or install the game on a Media Center PC and play using the remote on your TV set.
As you progress through Serpentine, you will be introduced to new types of Bao. An Energy Bao will give your serpent a temporary burst of speed, while a Spicy Bao will give him the power to melt giant ice cubes blocking his path. Once you have a handle on one serpent, do you think you have the skill to herd two at once? Or maybe three?
Unlock the “Hot’n’Spicy” expansion pack for even more hungry, frenzied fun. In “Hot’n’Spicy” you will meet new creatures with magical powers such as the fire and the water serpent.
