Windows CardSpace is a component of the Microsoft .NET Framework version 3.0 that provides a simple, secure, and consistent tool to manage personal information online. Windows CardSpace is specifically hardened against tampering and spoofing to protect the user's digital identities and maintain user control of personal information. Windows CardSpace is included with Windows Vista and is available as an optional add-on for both Windows XP Service Pack 2 and Service Pack 3, and Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1.
