Windows Media Center’s Electronic Programming Guide (the Guide), included in Windows Vista Home Premium and Windows Vista Ultimate, allows you to watch and record TV shows and movies with greater ease and convenience. Available in select countries1, the Guide is a free service that provides date and time listings as well as summaries for all the programming offered by your local TV service, including cable, satellite and terrestrial (e.g., standard network) TV providers. The Guide covers as many as 14 days, and with it, you can easily browse and record current and future programs according to their start time. The Guide also features simple navigation and powerful search capabilities that help you quickly find shows using common categories such as Kids, Movies, or Sports. Best of all, you can use all the features of the Guide for no monthly charge.
