Note: In order to use this component, you must be running the Italian version of Windows 95. This section is for users who want to download the Microsoft Windows 95 Service Pack 1 Update onto their computers. Click here for detailed information about each of the fixes included in the Update. Quit any applications that are currently running.
If you use Microsoft Plus! System Agent, right-click the System Agent icon on the toolbar, and then click Suspend System Agent.
Create a temporary folder on your hard disk.
Click the link "Windows 95 Service Pack 1 Update."
Save the file in the new folder.
In that folder, double-click Setup.exe, and then follow the instructions on your screen.
When the Setup.exe program finishes, your version of Windows 95 will be updated to version 4.00.950a.

Notes

Do not click Cancel during Setup. Doing so might cause Setup to fail. This may be true even though a message is displayed stating that your system was updated successfully
If you cancel Setup by mistake, run Setup again. If you are asked Do you want to overwrite the file? choose Yes To All.
