Updated driver for NEC CD-ROM model 260 (NECATAPI.VXD)

This is an update to NECATAPI.VXD that fixes a problem using the pause command while playing music CD’s with the Windows 95 CD Player applet on an NEC CD-ROM Drive model 260. If the pause command is used while playing a music CD, during songs on the later half of the CD, the CD Player will shut off.
This update is useful because it allows full use of the pause command while playing music CD’s on an NEC CD-ROM Drive model 260.
Anyone who plays music CD’s on an NEC CD-ROM Drive model 260 and uses the pause command needs this update.

- Create a temporary folder (directory) on your hard disk.
- Click the link "Updated driver for NEC CD-ROM model 260 (NECATAPI.VXD)"
- Save the file in the new folder.
- In that folder, double-click cd260upd.exe to install the program files.
