DOS Box Virtual Machine Update
(Download: 132K, self-extracting Zip file, published: June 17, 1996)
This component fixes a problem with the CAPS/KANA LED light on NEC PC-9800 series keyboards by updating the DOS Box virtual machine component of Windows 95. If the CAPS/KANA LED light is on while working with the Windows GUI interface the second time a DOS box is opened the LED light will no longer correct correspond to actual state of the CAPS/KANA lock key.
This update is useful because it allows users to use the LED light on the keyboard to correctly determine the status of the CAPS/KANA key. Any user who uses the CAPS/KANA key in a DOS Box should update their system.
