To remove a property from the property cache
- Open Computer Management
- In the console tree, under the appropriate catalog, click Properties.

In the details pane, in the Property Set column, click the property ID of the property you want to remove from the cache.

On the Action menu, click Properties.

In the Properties dialog box, clear the Cached check box.

Making changes to the property cache can have a substantial impact on performance.
Note
- To open Computer Management, click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. Double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Computer Management.

The changes take effect the next time you start Indexing Service.
