To add or remove toolbar buttons in folder windows

1. Open Windows Explorer
2. Click the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Customize.
3. To add a button, select a button from the list of Available toolbar buttons, and then click Add.

   To remove a button, select a button from the list of Current toolbar buttons, and then click Remove.

• To open Windows Explorer, click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, and then click Windows Explorer.
• You can change the position of buttons in the toolbar by clicking Move Up or Move Down.
• You can change the amount of window space used by toolbars in Windows Explorer by changing Text Options or Icon Options.
• To restore the toolbar buttons to their default settings, click Reset. This does not restore the Text Options or the Icon Options to their original settings.
• You can also customize the toolbars by right-clicking in the toolbar area, and then clicking one or more of the following options:
  • Standard Buttons
  • Address Bar
  • Links
  • Radio (available only when Windows Media Player is installed and you have an Internet connection)
  • Customize
• Toolbars are not affected by folder options settings. For more information about folder options, see Related Topics.
