Enterprise Deployment Pack for Windows Media Player FAQ July 2007
This document provides answers to frequently asked questions about the Enterprise Deployment Pack (EDP) for Windows Media Player.
What is the EDP for Windows Media Player? The EDP is a downloadable packaging tool that makes it easy for network and desktop administrators to centrally manage, configure, and deploy Windows Media Player 10 or Windows Media Player 9 Series. The scripts contained in the EDP present you with a series of Yes/No questions from the command line. After you've answered all the questions, the EDP creates a Windows Installer package (a file with an .msi extension) that you can deploy throughout the organization.
