System Requirements for Windows Media Bonus Pack for Windows XP
The minimum hardware and software requirements for Windows Media Bonus Pack for Windows XP are as follows:

Minimum system requirements

  • Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition or Windows XP Professional
  • A 350 megahertz (MHz) processor
  • 64 megabytes (MB) of random access memory (RAM)
  • 300 MB of available hard disk space
  • VGA resolution monitor
  • CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive, keyboard, Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
  • An Internet connection may be required for some features
  • Windows XP-compatible sound card and speakers or headphones
  • 256-color video card
  • A video card with 3-D graphics acceleration and 16 MB or higher video memory might be required for some features. The video card must be compatible with Windows XP. For more information, please see the recommended system requirements on this page.
    Note   You can confirm if your video card is compatible with Windows XP at the Hardware Compatibility List (HCL) page. All you need to do is:
    1. Type the video card manufacturer name in the Search box, and then click Go.
    2. Click on a video card model name to check if it is compatible with Windows XP.

  • A video card with 3-D graphics acceleration and 16 MB or higher video memory, or any the following video cards:
    • Matrox G400 and G450
    • SiS 300
    • Trident Blade XP
    • 3Dlabs Permedia 3
    • Video cards using the ATI RADEON and Rage 128 chipsets
    • Video cards using the NVIDIA RIVA TNT2 and GeForce chipsets

Note  If you are using a video card containing the ATI or NVIDIA chipsets, it is recommended that you download and install the latest video card software drivers from the respective manufacturer's Web site.
