Imagine Cup – Embedded Development Competition
The Imagine Cup is the World’s premier student technology competition and is the focus of the Windows Embedded offering for students. The Embedded Development category of the Imagine Cup is an annual competition that challenges student developers from around the world to go beyond the desktop and use their creativity to build a complete hardware and software solution using Windows Embedded CE. Hardware is provided for you should you advance to Round 2.
Teams of up to four and a faculty mentor are challenged to build a working prototype of an embedded solution. Open to students around the world, the Imagine Cup is a challenge that develops both talent and learning. The contest spans nearly a year, beginning with local, regional and online contests whose winners go on to attend the global finals held in a different location every year.
