Windows Embedded Partner Program Requirements

Windows Embedded
Join the Windows Embedded Partner Program at the Registered Level, and move up to the Silver and Gold levels through your active participation in the Windows Embedded ecosystem.

Requirements to Join

It’s easy for companies doing business in the embedded space to join the program. All you need is a designated primary contact, a Windows Live ID, and an MSPP membership. Download the enrollment instructions and get started!

Ongoing Requirements

Once you’re in the program, a few ongoing requirements help you maintain your level.

Registered Partners

  • Maintain a primary contact
  • Display the WEPP partner logo on your company website

Gold and Silver Partners

In October 2009, as part of the 10 year anniversary of the Windows Embedded Partner Program, WEPP announced exciting new changes to the program requirements and benefits for Silver and Gold level partners. Starting in 2010, WEPP members will earn the Silver and Gold levels by completing and reporting activities that earn points in the WEPP program. Partners will need at least 500 points for Silver level membership, and a minimum of 1500 points for Gold level membership. Points will be earned in the following categories:
  Silver Gold
Programmatic:
Pre-requisite activities such as WEPP logo usage, keeping your WEPP profile up to date, and having the minimum number of MCPs for your partner type and level.
Required Required
Core (80% or more of minimum points):
Key activities that help drive the business, including lead-generation activities, design wins, official training courses, creating BSPs, and participating in our Hardware Kitting program.
400+ pts 1200+ pts
Electives (20% or less of minimum points):
Awareness-building activities such as academic and community engagements, case studies, press releases, and participating in industry events.
0-100 pts 0-300 pts
Minimum Total Points 500 pts 1500 pts
