How to download and install new ringtones:
Using Windows Vista and Windows Mobile Phone Center

Your Windows Mobile phone offers a choice of built-in ringtones — but you may want to install ringtones that better reflect your personal tastes. As a member of Windows Mobile Total Access, you can choose from among a variety of free ringtones, including rave, Motown, blues, hip-hop, techno, flamenco, and new age ringtones, just to name a few.
To download and install new ringtones on your phone, simply follow these step-by-step instructions:
  • First, from within your browser, select the ringtone(s) you’d like to install.

    On the following page, review the license agreement, then click Accept and Download.

  • In the File Download window that appears on your computer, click Save.

  • In the next window, select Desktop (or a folder of your choice), and click Save. The file will now download to your computer.

  • To transfer the file to your phone, connect your phone to your computer. Once connected, Windows Mobile Phone Center will open automatically on your computer.

    Click File Management > Browse the Contents of Your Phone.

  • Choose the hard drive on your phone.

  • Find the ringtones you downloaded to your computer and drag them into the Sounds folder on your phone.

    The ringtones are now on your phone.

Now simply install the ringtone(s) on your phone as follows.
  • On your phone, press Start.
    On your phone, press 'Start'

  • Click Settings.
    Click 'Settings'

  • Click Sounds.
    Click 'Sounds'

  • On the Ringtone dropdown menu, choose the ringtone you’d like to use. To hear a ringtone, simply wait a few seconds after making each selection.

    When you've found the ringtone you want, press Done.

Congratulations! You've just installed a new ringtone on your phone! For more information about sounds — for example, to assign a ringtone to an individual contact (so you can tell by the ringtone who’s calling), or to specify a sound for an event (like an appointment reminder), visit the Personalize section in Help and How-to.
