Microsoft ActiveSync and Windows Firewall Settings

  • Microsoft ActiveSync will add the necessary exceptions in the Windows Firewall upon installation. If you are experiencing problems with Windows Firewall blocking ActiveSync connectivity, please make sure that the “Don’t allow exceptions” check box in Firewall Settings is NOT checked:
