Insert predefined text into a message

To save time when composing a text message, you can insert predefined text into messages by selecting from a list of phrases.

The text options are as follows:

  • What are you up to?
  • Just checking in…
  • Where are you?
  • Check this out!
  • I'll be right there.
  • I'm running late.
  • I'll get back to you.
  • Urgent! Please reply ASAP.
  • Let's catch up soon.
Step 1

Tap Start > Messaging > Text Messages.

Step 2

Tap Menu > New.

Step 3

In the To field, enter the recipient's phone number, or to insert a number from your contacts, tap Menu > Add Recipient, and then select a name.

Step 4

Scroll down to the message area, and then tap Menu > My Text.

Step 5

Tap the text you want.

Step 6

Tap Send.
