Use a signature in text messages

You can use a text signature in your text messages as you would in e-mail. To use a text messaging signature, you first have to create one.

Step 1

Tap Start > Messaging, and then scroll to Text Messages.

Step 2

Tap Menu > Options > Signatures.

Step 3

In the Select an account field, make sure that Text Messages is selected.

Step 4

Select the Use signature with this account check box.

Step 5

Select the Use when replying and forwarding check box, if you want.

Step 6

Enter your signature and then tap OK.

The signature will appear the next time that you send a text message.
