Add a number from call history to your Contacts |
| When you receive a phone call from someone not on your contacts list, your Windows phone makes it easy to quickly add that person to your Contacts.
Note Procedures may differ slightly on your phone. | |
|
On touch screen Windows phones: | | Press the Call/Send key. (It’s typically in the lower-left corner on the front of the phone.) Tap the Menu soft key, and tap Call History. You’ll see a list of recent incoming and outgoing calls. Find the number of the person who called you, then tap the Menu soft key, and tap Save to Contacts. Your contact list will load, allowing you to save that phone number to an already existing contact. Or, if it’s a new contact entirely, you can select New Contact, located at the top of the list. A new contact card opens, but it is simpler than the usual contact card, and contains only the First Name, Last Name, Number, and Number Type fields. The Number Type field is a drop-down menu that lets you select the category you want to assign the number to (such as Mobile, Home, or Work). When you finish creating the new contact, tap OK in the upper-right corner, and your new contact is saved.
