Implementing IPSecThese screencasts will cover implementing IPSec on both Windows Server 2003 and Ubuntu Linux.
In the first part of the screencast, Windows Server 2003 will be configured to use IPSec to encrypt all local traffic. IPSec key exchange will occur using a pre-shared key rather than the default kerberos authentication protocol. IPSec will be implemented on Ubuntu Linux through the OpenSwan package, an add on that allows IPSec to be used on both the LAN, WAN and VPNs. In this example, key exchange will be configured to utilize pre-shared digital certificates.
