Tom Hanrahan is Director of Linux Interoperability at Microsoft Corporation. Among his responsibilities are to develop and maintain positive relationships between Microsoft and members of the open source community, to co-manage the Microsoft-Novell Interoperability Lab in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and to help drive interoperability into the design of Microsoft products. Prior to joining Microsoft, Tom was Engineering Director at the Linux Foundation and the Open Source Development Lab, where he worked with industry members to promote the development and use of Linux and Linux-based open source solutions. Earlier, Tom was manager the Linux kernel developers in IBM’s Linux Technology center.

Professor Kevin Werbach iis formally affiliated with the Legal Studies and Business Ethics Department at the Wharton School. He is an esteemed technology analyst, and his research areas include emerging internet technologies; telecommunications policy; electronic commerce; wireless communication; and regulation. For the past three years he has been the host of the annual Supernova Technology Conference which takes place June of every year in San Francisco and which brings together the best minds in technology and business.
