Identity Lifecycle Manager 2007 Evaluation Edition

Download a 180-day Identity Lifecycle Manager (ILM) 2007 Evaluation Edition to explore how you can manage identities, certificates, and smart cards across your organization.

The 180-day ILM 2007 evaluation software requires Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or SQL Server 2000. If you do not already have the required operating system and database software, visit the following pages:

Production License

ILM 2007 is licensed on a per server and per user Client Access License (CAL) basis. ILM 2007 has a list price of $15,000 per server and $25 per user CAL.

Note: Prices are listed in U.S. Dollars. The listed prices are Open NL prices; reseller pricing may vary. This product is only available through volume licensing programs.

You must acquire and assign a user CAL for each user for whom the Identity Lifecycle Manager 2007 software issues or manages one or more digital certificates. You do not need user CALs to access instances of the server software.

ILM 2007 requires Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition, as well as the Standard Edition or Enterprise Edition of SQL Server 2005 or SQL Server 2000 as its back-end store.

Windows Server 2003

ILM 2007 requires Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition, and Windows Server 2003 client access licenses (CALs).

SQL Server

ILM 2007 requires SQL Server 2005 or 2000, Enterprise or Standard Edition, Service Pack 3 (SP3).

Required Hardware

1 GHz processor or faster processor recommended; Pentium 4 recommended

512 MB of RAM or higher; 1 GB or more recommended

350 MB of available hard-disk space or more for the default installation. An additional 1 GB of available hard-disk space is recommended for the log file.

8 GB of available hard-disk space on the partition that contains the database files for ILM 2007 metadirectory services and user provisioning

CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive

Super VGA (1024 x 768) or higher-resolution monitor recommended

Keyboard and mouse or compatible pointing device

At least one network interface card (NIC) is required. If a private network is used, the head node requires at least two NICs, and each compute node requires at least one NIC. Each node may also require a high-speed NIC for a Message Passing Interface (MPI) network.

Certificate and smart card management hardware requirements: CLM-compatible smart card(s) and smart card reader(s)

Offers for Microsoft Identity Integration Server 2003 Customers

One-time License Grant of Identity Lifecycle Manager 2007 to License Holders of Microsoft Identity Integration Server (MIIS) 2003

ILM 2007 is the successor to Microsoft Identity Integration Server 2003, which is being discontinued. As a one-time exception in connection with the discontinuation of Identity Integration Server 2003, we are granting Select, Enterprise, Open License, and Open Value customers with active Software Assurance for Microsoft Identity Integration Server 2003 as of April 30, 2007 the following ILM 2007 licenses at no additional charge, other than the media costs (if applicable):

One ILM 2007 for each qualifying Identity Integration Server 2003 processor license with active Software Assurance that the customer owns as of April 30, 2007. The following restrictions apply:

ILM 2007 licenses granted under this offer will include Software Assurance coverage. That coverage will expire when the corresponding Identity Integration Server coverage expires. Upon expiration of that coverage, customers may renew their software Assurance on the MIIS 2003 ILM 2007 license.

Customers must acquire ILM 2007 CALs separately.

A customer's use of ILM 2007 under this offer will be subject to the terms and conditions of its license agreement and the ILM 2007 product use rights. The right to use ILM 2007 expires when the corresponding MIIS license expires. Customers may not transfer the ILM 2007 licenses granted under this offer separately from the corresponding MIIS licenses.
