The Siebel Platform Sizing and Performance Program (PSPP) simulates deployments across large global enterprises, which include employees, partners, and customers using Siebel Call Center, Siebel eService, Siebel Partner Relationship Management, and Siebel Interactive Selling applications.

The performance results were achieved running a single 64-bit Unisys ES7000 Orion 130 server equipped with 16 Intel Itanium 2 processors at 1 GHz with 3 MB L3 cache, Intel E8870 chipset building blocks and 64 GB of memory. The application components of the benchmark included 40 Siebel Application servers (four CPUs, 4 GB of memory) and nine Web servers (four CPUs, 4 GB of memory).

Unisys performed the benchmark at its development and test facilities in Roseville, MN, under the Siebel PSPP program. The tests under this program are based on real-world scenarios derived from more than 4,000 Siebel customers, reflecting the most frequently used and most performance-intensive components of Siebel eBusiness Applications, and have been certified by Siebel Systems.
