*** Running Windows SharePoint Services or Windows Rights Management Services on Windows Server 2003 Web Edition is permitted only on the front end in scale-out configurations. The storage component must be run on a separate server that connects to backend applications running on Standard, Enterprise, or Datacenter editions of Windows Server 2003 or Windows Server 2003 R2.
