The accounting function in WSRM tracks how managed and unmanaged processes use resources. With this information, you can easily generate reports of process-resource usage on a per-user, per-application, or other relevant basis. You can use the accounting data to monitor resource usage, compare actual and expected performance, assess whether the computer's physical resources are sufficient for its intended tasks, and provide the basis for chargeback accounting.
This white paper discusses ways to sort, filter, and group the data before it is displayed in the WSRM snap-in. It also discusses how the database is grouped and aggregated before being displayed in WSRM.
