Microsoft Windows users with computers based on the new x64 architecture may have problems finding the correct print driver for their systems, because some printer vendors may not have certified print drivers ready for their printers when the x64 version of Windows is released.
This paper describes how an administrator can locate and use a suitable substitute print driver should a certified print driver not be available. It also describes some of the limitations of using a substitute print driver so the administrator can decide the best course of action.
