Product Overview
Because we can deliver all of the service and support necessary to implement powerful business solutions, Microsoft endorses HP Services as the only Worldwide Prime Integrator for Windows Server 2003, Windows NT, Exchange 2003 Server, and BizTalk Server 2004. Specifically with Microsoft SQL Server, Windows IT Pro and SQL Server Magazine voted the HP ProLiant DL580 G3 server the "Best of TechEd 2005." And as a testament to the overwhelming customer confidence in the quality and performance of HP products for SQL Server, HP won the overall "Best Hardware" category in SQL Server Magazine's 2005 Readers' Choice Awards—by write-in vote of customers in the e-in, user-nominated category.

Joint Value Proposition
If performance and value are your criteria, it's hard to find a more "decorated" veteran in the mid-market server space than HP ProLiant. These systems have held No. 1 position in the x86 server market for 35 consecutive quarters—that's almost nine years—and awards keep rolling in: "2005 Best Product" by Windows IT Pro and SQL Server Magazine and "Best of Show" at TechEd 2005, are just a few of the most recent recognitions of the confidence that customers have in its quality and performance.
HP Integrity solutions revenue surpassed $1B in our past fiscal year (2004), which shows that customers around the world trust Intel Itanium 2-based HP Integrity servers for their most demanding business workloads. This also shows a strong move to the performance, productivity, and reliability of 64-bit computing with our Integrity solutions for their most demanding, mission-critical enterprise business needs—and the new enhancements within SQL Server 2005 will make the value proposition of these solutions even more compelling.
With Visual Studio 2005, HP is leveraging our strong partnership with Microsoft in delivering .NET solutions through "APPRISE"—a new, comprehensive Enterprise Project and Process management solution that will enable developers to be more productive. APPRISE will be an exciting capability to help developers get to market faster and lower costs. With this latest release of Visual Studio 2005, HP and Microsoft are providing additional value to developers through native 64-bit capability.
HP has delivered hundreds of enterprise integration engagements using BizTalk Server for large, heterogeneous environments—so many, in fact, that HP Services is recognized by Microsoft as Worldwide Prime Integrator for BizTalk Server. We've earned that unique distinction by helping customers reduce complexity in the enterprise through efficiently and effectively integrating systems, employees, and trading partners faster than ever before.
