The Virtual Machine Additions for Linux provide the following capabilities:

| • | Host services to enable coordinated shutdown, time synchronization and heartbeat between the Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 host and the Linux Guest |

Customers who deploy supported guest operating systems in Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 can get product support through their normal Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 support channels. The Virtual Machine Additions for Linux will also be supported through the same channels.
