Storport in Windows Server 2003: Improving Manageability and Performance in Hardware RAID and Storage Area Networks

This white paper begins by explaining the limitations of the original SCSIport driver architecture when used with interconnects for which it was not designed. The paper then details the architectural improvements of the new Storport driver, which has been developed to deliver high throughput and CPU-efficient I/O in high performance environments.
