How to Download and Play Video Files

If you access the Internet via a dial-up modem, you'll have a better experience watching this video if you download it to your computer first, and then play it.

For Windows XP users to download and play the video

  1. Click the Download the video now link.
  2. In the File Download dialog box, click Save.
  3. In the Save As dialog box, select a location on your computer to save the file. We recommend the Desktop. Click Save.
  4. Windows XP downloads the video file and saves it to the Desktop.
  5. Minimize all windows to expose the Desktop. (Or open the folder in which you saved the file.) Double-click on the downloaded file.
  6. In the WinZip Self-Extractor dialog box, click Browse. Choose a folder in which to save your video. For example, the My Videos folder.
  7. Click Unzip, click OK, and then click Close.
  8. Open the folder in which you saved the file. Double-click on the file to start the video in Windows Media Player.
