Favorite computing sites:Troubleshooting Windows XP by Kelly, Doug's Windows Tweaks and Tips, DTS-L.org.

His own words:"I retired from the Air Force after 20 years with experience in electronics and computers as well as various types of security. All of us in my family have a growing interest in computers. I have always had an interest in computers as well as an interest in helping others. Security is always a major issue in the military just like it needs to be with computers. It is important to educate people and encourage them to secure their computers.

The newsgroups are a great way to put my interests in one place. I like the online community as a method to give and recieve technical support. There are no questions that may be 'out of scope' for support because pretty much anything can be asked regardless of the computer manufacturer, warranty etc. Another thing I like is the 'check and balance' of the newsgroups. On the occasion incomplete advice is given, someone else will normally pop in to add to or correct the information."
