You can watch TV shows that you've recorded with your Media Center PC on your other computers by using Windows Media Player. If your kids have a computer in their room, they can use it to watch recorded shows (after they've finished their homework, of course). Want to follow a recipe from a cooking show that you've recorded? Copy it to your notebook computer and watch it in the kitchen, pausing and rewinding so you don't miss anything important. If you travel with a notebook computer, you can copy recorded shows to it before you leave, and watch the shows anywhere.

Watch TV on a Portable Media Center

Connect your Portable Media Center to your Media Center PC to automatically synchronize recorded TV, music, and pictures so that you can enjoy your media on the go. When you connect a PC that is running Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 to your Xbox 360 with Windows Media Center Extender technology or to a Media Center Extender set-top box, you can watch live or recorded TV on any TV that is in your house. You can even watch TV in another room while someone else is using your Media Center PC.

If your Media Center PC has a DVD burner, you can copy previously recorded TV shows to a writeable DVD, and then play the DVD in your standard DVD player.
