Watch DVDs


Enjoy watching DVDs with Microsoft Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005. If your Media Center PC is equipped with a CD/DVD drive, you can use it to watch your favorite DVDs. Just put the DVD in your computer's CD/DVD drive, and then use your remote to start it. See the step-by-step directions below.

To watch a DVD:


  1. Insert a DVD into the DVD drive.
    2. Insert a DVD in the DVD drive
  2. Press the Green Start Button on your remote to open the Media Center Start menu.
  3. Select Play DVD.

  4. Use the buttons on your remote to navigate the DVD menu.
    5. You can return to the DVD menu at any time by pressing the DVD menu button on your remote.
