How to Get Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005

To upgrade to Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 from older Tablet PC versions, you must download the Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2). SP2 includes all of the new Tablet PC functionality as well as better protection against hackers, viruses, and worms. Please note that downloading SP2 will not make a traditional PC into a Tablet PC. There are three ways to get SP2.

You can download this and all future critical updates automatically by turning on the Automatic Updates feature in Windows XP. Turn on Automatic Updates for me.

With SP2, you can:

Help guard your privacy with an updated Windows Firewall

Monitor your security status with the new Windows Security Center

Reduce unwanted ads with a Pop-Up Blocker for Internet Explorer

If you have already installed SP2, make sure you are using up-to-date antivirus software for optimal protection.
