Steps to Enable UPnP for D-Link DI-614+

Steps to Enable UPnP for D-Link DI-614+:
1. | Set up your router in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, and reset all defaults. |
2. | Connect your computer's network cable directly to one of the LAN Ports on the router, or connect to the router wirelessly. |
3. | Open your browser, and in the Address bar, type the following default IP address for the DI-614+ router: http://192.168.0.1  Figure 1 |
4. | When you are finished typing the DI-614+ router's IP address (see the preceding illustration), press ENTER to establish a connection. |
5. | After the connection is established, you will be prompted to enter your user name and password (see the following illustration). To log on as an Administrator, type admin in the User name box and leave the Password box blank.  Figure 2 |
6. | Click OK to go to the Setup Wizard page (see the following illustration).  Figure 3 |
7. | To enable voice/video conversations, click the Tools tab, and then, under UPNP Settings, click Enabled (see the following illustration).  Figure 4 |
8. | Click Apply at the bottom of the page to save the change. |
9. | A progress screen (as shown in the following illustration) appears to indicate that your router is now UPnP enabled and that the device is being restarted. Click Continue.  Figure 5 |
10. | Your router is now ready to enable voice/video conversations with Windows Messenger! |
