MTC (Microsoft Technology Center) works with Microsoft customers and partners to remove technology obstacles and reduce risks during the decision making process to adopt Microsoft platform. MTC assists customers and partners to embrace emerging Microsoft technologies to create innovative business solutions. MTC achieves the goals by providing Strategy Briefings, Architecture Design Sessions and Proof of Concepts.

The business development manager is responsible for developing and managing engagement pipelines, and following up completed engagement for business impacts. The business development manager works with MTC manager to create MTC plans and drive execution; interacts with internal and external customers to create engagement opportunities that maximizes business impacts; monitors engagement progress of key engagements; and create periodic reports about MTC business.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage the engagement pipeline by working with internal and external customers

Ensure data correctness of engagement data in the pipeline and create records in world-wide MTC portal

Conduct post engagement survey

Follow up on completed engagements for business impacts, including win/loss/revenue tracking, reference win tracking

Create monthly and quarterly reports

Create case studies on key engagements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in science or engineering

Minimum 6 (six) years of experience in the IT industry in the capacity of business development, solution selling or

Good technical background. Able to map technical engagements into business values

Fluent in spoken English

Excellent writing skills in English and Chinese

Proficiency in Microsoft office tools

Self driven, out-going, aggressive and result oriented
