Mentoring Program
Mentoring Program is one of Microsoft student Program features. With free enrollment and matchmaking, interns can interact with Taiwan and U.S. mentors to learn more about career planning, provide advice, and share experiences in social and work life, which helps interns to expand their network and develop a positive workplace attitude. With the dedication of 29 mentors& 49 mentees from TAITAI mentoring program and 53 mentors& 76 mentees from TAIMEI mentoring program, we successfully held Mentoring program event on October 25th!

Opening
It’s our pleasure to have Ken Sun, GM of Microsoft Taiwan, and Vincent Shih, GM of Corporate, External and Legal Affairs Microsoft Taiwan, who gave us a speech to encourage everyone and express their welcome.

Stories Sharing
At the end of the event, everyone grouped themselves into eight planet according to their own personality to have stories sharing with their mentor/mentee. Grace Chang, the senior manager of CELA Microsoft Taiwan, offered a bonus gift based on their stories sharing, encourage every mentor and mentee to continue the good interaction in the future.
Activities Summary of TAIME Kick off event
Special Event - Happy Halloween!
As you can see in the photo, the theme of the first con-call is Halloween! Mentors and mentees put on costumes or change their background in Teams, and congratulations to Devin, Mars, and Frank for winning THE MOST CREATIVE AWARD!
Kahoot& QA session - "Hobbies & Careers!"
In the call, mentees were divided into 3 groups according to the questions they were going to ask. (Some were interested in hobbies, and some were interested in careers.) All participants played Kahoot! to decide who can have the chance to ask questions.
During the QA session, mentees asked questions such as how to balance career and hobbies. We believe every mentee has learnt a lot from mentors in this call!
