The 4 Afrika Academy seeks to help African countries and individuals compete and win in the global economy. Our aim is to support Africans with the development of world class skills that benefit their community, country and continent at large. We employ a range of innovative approaches to enable a flexible, accessible and individualised learning experience from virtual live courses streamed online, to Microsoft employees volunteering in a variety of skills transfer projects. The Academy enables:

• African youth to start businesses and secure jobs –particularly in the technology sector and amongst the ecosystem of Microsoft partners and customers.
• Microsoft partners and SME companies to receive ongoing technical and business training on the latest product solutions, technology platforms and best practices in growing companies.
• Government administrators to develop more effective ICT policy and more efficient governing practices through the 'School of Government' curriculum.
