With 6,400+ comments and 26,000+ reviews, we’ve heard it all over the last few years. Its slow, things are weird, it’s helpful, and even that it’s cool (we’re looking at you Brad!). At every release, we’ve pushed our teams to focus on quality, performance, and usability. And while we’ve pushed the envelope and have improved dramatically over the last 12 months, we weren’t satisfied. In May 2019, we launched a beta application for our updated design and the reconstruction of how the app works. Over 25,000 people have downloaded the application and half of you continue to use it on a monthly basis. Application performance has increased dramatically (exponentially in some cases!) and we’ve squashed more than 3,500 bugs.
So without further delay, we are very excited to introduce the brand new Lenovo Vantage experience. We’ve taken the best of our in-house technology and mixed it with the power of a progressive web app. Updates become as seamless as visiting a normal website and we’re committed to delivering updates to you every month. We won’t stand still, and we’ll never settle.
The updated Lenovo Vantage experience requires Windows 10 Redstone 4 (build 17134, released in March 2018), and will work better with later versions as Microsoft continues to improve their adoption of PWA. Key features：
Performance, performance, performance! (we’re just that excited)
System status overview and quick settings adjustments
Security center dashboard and how to stay safe out there
Advanced protection of your PC system health and proactive updates for drivers and software
Access your system’s user guide, check warranty status and get support
Performance, performance, performance! (wait, did we already put this in?)
Coming soon (like really, really soon…)
Connected home security for all your devices (sign up for announcements)
How to protect your online identity and keep your data private (shhh, more to come in September)
Advanced PC diagnostics powered by AI (we aren’t building robots here)
And a lot more features that we can’t tell you about… yet! we promise!
As always, if you have any feedback (good or bad), comments, suggestions, or just want to change, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Lenovo digitally signs the executables and libraries of this product to ensure authenticity. In order to validate the signatures, a chain of trust is established from the certificate used for signing to a root Certificate Authority (CA). Establishing the chain of trust requires the intermediate and root certificates to be present on the system. In case they are not present, they are acquired as follows:
1. If the system has internet access, windows will download the missing certificates using windows update when needed. This is the most common case.
2. In the rare case when systems have no internet access, the certificates are installed by the product at product installation time.
Note that the certificates used in either scenario are the same and have been issued by Verisign and Symantec.
The certificates that will be installed with this product are:
1. Lenovo Intermediate Certificate:
CN=Symantec Class 3 SHA256 Code Signing CA - G2
