Our 5,000-plus colleagues
rely on our IT services

in the east of England and Hartlepool.
- When the pandemic hit,
like most businesses, we had
to adapt to get as many office
space colleagues working
from home as possible.
Six months in, we knew remote
working wasn't going away,
so we checked in with
our home workers, asking,
"How's it working out for you?
"Do you have everything
you need to do your job?"
- We found that around 700
of our people had started
to struggle with the kit they were using.
So it might've been
okay in the short term,
but to support them in the
longer term, we asked ourselves,
"How can we do things better?"

employees to work from home,
keep in touch, and work

We can build and manage them remotely too,

which meant that I could be
a lot more creative when
it came to coming up
with new ideas and sharing those ideas.

The Surface Hubs combined

and Microsoft 365, more
broadly, have helped
create digital collaboration
spaces for our teams
on-site and at home.
In fact, after the deployment,
our employee engagement survey showed
an eight point increase in scores
with data and technology.

and they can continue delivering
great customer service.
