- The Emirates group is a multinational corporation. It's made out of Emirates Airline as well as its dnata businesses. Dnata consists out of ground handling, cargo, catering and retail, as well as its travel companies. We are currently serving 115 countries in the world with about 75,000 employees. - Our journey to the cloud started several years ago when we moved our cabin crew to Office 365, to give them access to email and other documents from anywhere in the world where they were flying to. - The Microsoft Cloud platform allows us to use technologies like Azure, multifactor authentication, self-service password reset, literally the whole Microsoft stack, to allow us to collaborate data amongst our employees, share data, and even share data with third parties, securely and safety. - The implementation of Microsoft 365 helped us during the COVID. Once we went into lockdown, a lot of our people had to go work from home. The solution helped them access to Microsoft 365 from the cloud, they had access to all their documents and are able to continue working without interruption. - As part of the identity and access management strategy. Multifactor authentication via Azure ID has enabled secure and seamless access to our applications from anywhere and any device. From a self-service password capability, it has streamlined the user experience, and because of which we have seen significant reduction of almost 80% in our calls to service desk. And this has actually improved the efficiency and productivity of our employees. - We've got, you know, 75,000 people worldwide. So being able to engage with them and communicate with them on a regular basis is always a challenge. But now we have these tools at hand and we use, you know live events to engage with over 6,000 people. We use Teams meetings to engage with four people. We use, share, you know, share files to be able collaborate online. So it's really raised the level of communication and engagement we've got across, and that's really, really important as we try and develop as an organization. - So Microsoft is and was a longstanding partner of ours. They supported us in our growth. They supported us through the pandemic, where remote were working and secure remote working was essential for our business and staff. We are looking forward to continue the collaboration with Microsoft for further growth, but even more, actually to serve our customers better.
