[music] KIPIC stands for Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company. It's [a] downstream company. We have a natural gas importing for Kuwait as well as one of the largest refinery built in the world, south of Kuwait. [music] KIPIC is aiming to be one of the digitalized organization[s], and the services are using the new technologies and trends. One of the challenges that we are facing is [the] number of users, and [the] initiatives required [is] much higher than the capacity in IT. [music] We started to use Power Platform, Power BI, and Power Automate 2 years ago. Also, we have lots of training courses. Most of them online to the user because the platform is very easy; it is based on low code concept. So we start taking the benefits quickly. Now we start seeing solutions developed by the user to serve day-to-day needs. Now they have more time that they can perform another task and have more tasks. And 10 % of our staff become citizen developers. [music] I'm very happy of implementing the Power Platform because it is, first of all, integrated with the ecosystem that we have as well as it is kind of offloading the people in IT. Also, this is a new way of doing the digitalization. It is like a catalyst. It will make the entire organization working on toward the digital transformation. It's not only IT. [music] Using Power Platform gives [us] the capabilities to reduce the development cycle from months to days. It depends on the complexity of the application. During the pandemic, our HSC department, they launched COVID-19 app that enables us to report the COVID-19 infections. And having a dashboard to show all the statistics and data to the management was a big achievement happened during COVID. [music] In the future, we want to focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) as well as Azure Analytics because in the coming few years, the refinery will start operating and lots of data will be generated from it. And using a tool like Analytics and AI will be helping the users a lot here in KIPIC. [music]
