We're focusing on growth very much.
And as we expanded into
new markets and also want
to cover the demand which is
increasing into current market,
we needed an agile, flexible way how to
scale our infrastructure and operations.
To  meet these challenges, Košík opted for
a new strategy—running everything in the cloud.

Moving to Microsoft Azure enabled us
to have a shorter time-to-market and
also lower operational costs pretty much.
Following this success, we decided to extend
our cloud operation to our all ecosystem,
which means ERP system, SAP and also our e-shop.
SAP S/4HANA migration to Azure
helped us increase flexibility,
and also to actually reduce development time,
and improve time-to-market for new releases.

We were much better prepared to deal with
unprecedented demand brought
by the COVID-19 pandemic.
And we became the preferred choice in the Czech
market during the first and second waves.
The  change brought not only
efficiency but also transparency.

SAP integration into Azure is literally
helping us to automate and save time.
It also lets leadership see what it takes
to deliver an order of groceries to the end customer.
And that was the reason we decided
to extend our cloud use
to our office solutions
by adopting Microsoft 365 stack.
Košík  has been using Microsoft Teams
to deal with the challenges posed by
remote and hybrid-work environments.

Teams is considered here, in Košík, as a cure for everything.
Teams functions as a chat channel,
company intranet, video conferencing tool,
or even a performance management tool in one.
Microsoft was actually able to educate us,
at first, on the benefits of cloud solutions,
and I think that’s the key factor for our success.
