So Organica water is a global provider of wastewater treatment solution,
which is very different from the usual
wastewater treatment plant you see,
because here you can see plants,
and we have artificial carriers under the water.

We are very distributed around the world, and we were struggling
to find a solution to integrate all these
different data sources into one system.

So what we do, we place hardware on one of our treatment plants,
which is an IoT device, which sends data up to the cloud,
and where the Azure systems process this data,
and send them over to the Power BI for
visualization, and create reports from it there.

a good solution for us, because we could integrate SCADA data,
monitoring station data or other small controllers,
which are contributing to the functionality of the system.
By analyzing the data we can adjust the settings in the system,
which will give us benefits for the energy consumption.

Using Power BI saved us money in two
different ways.
One is that we are saving engineering resources,
because we don't need to prepare
these reports manually every time,
and it helps us to find the parameters, which are more
optimal in operating the plant, which saves money for our clients.
So in this place we have saved
around 10 000$ per month for our client.
And this is just the starting step,
because we are planning to implement and sell
this solution for other clients around the globe.

Time spent on reporting previously took from four
to six hours to complete a report and analyze it,
now it takes only some minutes to produce the
report, and then my colleagues could sit down
and analyze and send the results to our client.

The implementation went very fast with system former.
Once we came up with our requirements,
the solution was ready within two weeks.

We use Microsoft Teams extensively every day,
because we have a team that's not sitting in the same office.
So we use Teams to communicate with them every day.
So it's very easy and very user friendly.
With this solution that now we're
providing to treatment plants,
we're getting closer to a sustainable future, and
how wastewater treatment plants should be run.
