- All of us are the same in that we are scared to start something new. It's natural. It's part of being human. And for me, I just say yes. I jump in, and the community has been fabulous in just welcoming me and supporting me and giving me an opportunity to lift other people up too. - Your experience and your knowledge and your perspective can help countless people that you don't even realize yet. - There's no benefit in doing career alone. It's good when you do with people, with community, and data community is one of the best communities you can actually join. - All these blogs and books I've been reading and actually seeing those people in person and being able to talk to them, getting inspired from them, and learning from them, I think that is what inspired me to be part of the community. - That there's room for you, and just, yeah, come on in. - Go and find one group where you can go and help and be helped. I think that's the spirit of the community. Go and be there. Go and be there for someone else. - Being in the community for the last few years has helped me grow professionally as well as personally. - The data community had a very large impact on my professional development because it was there every step of the way. I've gone from novice to citizen developer to super user, and today, I am a Fabric administrator and technical lead for a global organization. - Because the tools have gotten so much better, so much easier to use, between Power BI's advancements and Fabric coming out, everybody needs help with this, and so I feel like I've become part of a much greater community now because of these tools. - When you run into a brick wall, ask the community for help. Take those first steps, venture into new spaces, and we're happy to help you deliver on more. (gentle upbeat music)
