Im Rahmen seiner Digitalisierungsstrategie hat DHL Supply Chain, als weltweit f\u00fchrender Kontraktlogistikanbieter und Teil von Deutsche Post DHL Group, in Zusammenarbeit mit Microsoft und dem Fulfillment-Dienstleister Blue Yonder eine neue \u201ePlug & Play\u201c-Plattform f\u00fcr die Integration von Lagerrobotern eingef\u00fchrt. Die Softwareplattform nutzt Microsoft Azure IoT<\/strong> sowie weitere Azure Cloud-Computing-Services<\/strong>, um den Programmieraufwand f\u00fcr die Einbindung neuer automatisierter Ger\u00e4te und Roboter in unterschiedliche Lagermanagementsysteme zu reduzieren. Durch die Plattform wird die Komplexit\u00e4t der DHL-eigenen Prozesse verringert, Abl\u00e4ufe beschleunigt und f\u00fcr Unternehmenskunden die Flexibilit\u00e4t bei Auswahl und Integration von Robotern in ihre Systeme erh\u00f6ht.

“Der weltweite Einsatz von Robotern und Robotersystemen ist integraler Bestandteil unserer Strategie, um unsere Mitarbeiter zu unterst\u00fctzen und den Betrieb unserer Kunden zu verbessern”, erl\u00e4utert Markus Voss, Global CIO und COO bei DHL Supply Chain. “Durch Automatisierung und kollaborative Roboter k\u00f6nnen operative Prozesse f\u00fcr unsere Mitarbeiter flexibler, ergonomischer und attraktiver gestaltet werden, weil monotone, repetitive und besonders anstrengende T\u00e4tigkeiten von den Robotern \u00fcbernommen werden. Deshalb wissen wir, wie komplex, zeitaufwendig und teuer es sein kann, neue Roboter in bestehende Plattformen zu integrieren und mit den verschiedenen Lagermanagementsystemen unserer Kunden zu vernetzen. Genau das macht die neue Plattform so effektiv.\u201c Bereits beim ersten Einsatz am Standort Madrid sank die Integrationszeit von Robotern um 60% und bei nachfolgenden Projekten geht DHL sogar von Zeitersparnissen von bis zu 90% aus.<\/p>\n
